STOP THE PRESSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guys we are all extremely stressed out about this game and there is no need for the trip to be stress full as well!!! I have been in contact with the New Orleans Police Department in regards to our trip to Pan American Stadium. I have posted a Google link with the showing you which way the bus will be traveling!!! After a lengthy discussion about where and when we are playing, where the parade routes are, where people will be parking for the parade, and where the parade will be staging before it begins, the New Orleans Police Department and I agreed that this is the best way in. The officer I spoke to did not think parking would be a major problem. Although I suggest you leave early with us just in case.
The closest the Parade will get to us is over a mile away!
As you guys can see from the map,
The Jesuit administration, coaches, and fans have been making a huge issue out of playing on Saturday and the game time. The reason behind this… they are more interested in celebrating Mardi Gras than playing soccer! They are concerned their fan base will go to the parade and not the game! They are concerned that their players will make poor decisions on Friday night! They are working very hard at trying to frighten away our fans!!! All of these work to our advantage! Our boys will be more focus and ready to play come game time!!
I appreciate everyone’s concern and efforts to help get us there in one piece. I was starting to sense a little panic in the masses and figured it was time to get some hard facts for everyone. I look forward to seeing you all there!!
