2011-2012 Season

Dear Parents:

Congratulations!  Your son has been invited to be a member of the Lafayette High Men's Soccer Team.  This program has consistently ranked as one of the top ten teams in the state and we look forward to another successful season.

 

The Lafayette High Soccer Team is dependent on parents, players and coaches working together.  Your support and encouragement will play a valuable part in shaping the lives of our sons as they learn the value of hard work and dedication.

 

The Lafayette High Men's Soccer Team Booster Club meeting will be held on ThursdayNovember 3, 2011at 6:00 p.m. for the Freshman parents and 6:30 forJV/Varsity parents in the Lafayette High School cafeteria.  This is a MANDATORY meeting.  Each player is required to have at least one parent representing him at the meeting, although both parents are encouraged to attend.  All players are required to attend this year!

 

PLAYER EXPENSES

$180.00 Player Fee
2.
80.00 Warm-Up Fee (Each player will need to purchase his own personalized warm-up suit, if he does not have one from last year, which will be his to keep as long as he likes)

 

These MANDATORY fees must be paid at the meeting on Thursday.

 

Checks for the above items should be made payable to "LHS Men's Soccer."  If paying with cash, please bring the exact amount as we will have no change at the meeting.

 

 

►FUNDRAISERS

 

1.
Skeet Shoot Fundraiser  Raised $5,000
2.
Program AdsEach player will be required to sell a minimum of $100.00 in ads for the soccer programs that are sold at each home game.  The ad forms will be given out at the meeting.  

 

3.
Sponsor Sign Sales – Each player has the opportunity to sell 2 signs to local business to offset the cost of the warm-up suit.  The cost is $60.00 per sign.  Forty dollars ($40.00) of this $120.00 will go back to the program for payment of the signs and the other $80.00 will be credited to you.  Your original check of $80.00 will be returned to you or your player when the sign money is returned.  These signs will be displayed around the field for all home games.  
4.
Yard Signs- $25 for yard signs with your players name and number.

I Pad Raffle- Each player will be required to sell at least 1 book of tickets. Raffle will take place in December.

 

T-SHIRTS

 

LHS soccer spirit t-shirts and sweatshirts will be sold this year on a pre-ordered basis.  Order forms will be available at the meeting on Thursday.      

***Please be prepared to pay for shirts and signs at the meeting.

 

 

PARENT VOLUNTEERS

 

We cannot have a successful season without the help of parent volunteers.  We are still in needs of the following positions:  

*Gate Coordinator (Sophomore class)                *District Dinner Coordinator (junior class)

*Away game Food Coordinator (2 volunteers)*Senior Night Coordinator (Junior Class)
