Congratulations boys on an defeating number 2 ranked Captain Shreve on their home field Saturday Night!! The character and perseverance you showed will be remembered for years to come!
Next we will complete our sweep of the top 3 ranked teams in the state with a victory over Jesuit in the Division I State Finals this Saturday Night in Independence Stadium in Shreveport.
As a reward for your efforts, enjoy the next couple days off!!
We will practice Wednesday and Thursday this week at STM at 4:00PM (pending confirmation).
Friday morning we will leave school at 9:00 AM on Mrs Shelly's School Bus and travel to Shreveport to spend the night. (There is a strong possibility we will have a pep rally send off Friday morning before we leave). We will have a light practice in Shreveport Friday at 2:00pm and return to the hotel to clean up before we head to dinner at 5:00pm. After dinner we will go to the Division III Boys State Championship Game.
Saturday we will sleep in and participate in team activities during the day. We will return to Independence Stadium around 5:00pm Saturday for team pictures and to prepare for our game. At 7:00pm we will begin our destruction of Jesuit!!
Hotel and meal expenses will be paid by the team with the exception of the following events you will need to bring money for:
Dinner Friday Night (at Macaroni Grill)
Admission into the DIII Final game ($10)
1 fast food meal on the way home Saturday Night
Eat right and get plenty of rest this week. We want to be at full Strength when we knock Jesuit of their pedestal Saturday night!!!
